Original artwork description:

This is an Oil Pastel version of the same view as the previous Ink drawing. It was the view from our window in Hammersmith looking out onto the rooftops of the protected area known as Brackenbury Village.
This protected status is the reason for the lack of modern taller buildings and why it has such a traditional English house rooftops feeling. I enjoyed drawing the different colours and shades of bricks and rooftops in this area as they reminded me of the area I grew up in Liverpool.

Materials used:

Oil Pastel on 160gsm Black Paper
