This oneiric serie - The Soul Guardians - is a very dear project of mine, started in 2014 and now I would like to continue it, adding more figurative whimsical characters, in more diverse formats. I'm inspired by this desire of human beings to feel protected by a superior powerful entity since ancient times until our contemporary modern world. I created new versions of guardians - creatures from other realms. Some of them also needs guardians in shape of pets or toys or invisible friends. It is a natural circle that I observed around me.

In this painting, I explore the whimsical and ethereal depths of childhood imagination. My use of vivid acrylics intensifies the surreal, dream-like quality, while the elongated limbs and oversized eyes capture a sense of wonder and innocence. The character grasps a toy, symbolizing the tangible connections to the simpler, pure moments of youth. Bringing this artwork into your space infuses it with a playful, nostalgic energy that invites viewers to reconnect with their own childlike curiosity.
