Original artwork description:

I saw this boy at the prayer ghat of Haridwar. Every night after sundown, thousands, if not millions, of devotees congregate at the shore of Ganges to watch the prayer rituals of the priests and to float their offerings on Ganges. Few people also stand in the middle holding plates with holy fire for people to take blessings from it in exchange of some money. A majority of them are young children. I saw this boy in the crowd. The blessing seekers around him were looming over him creating shadows. But the little lamp on his tray kept him lit up amidst the darkness.
