This boy is now curious and daring. But in his eyes we can see an understanding of what heavy load will fall on his shoulders in the future. He already understands that he will have to grow up and become a man capable of taking responsibility. So we can say that the image of a man in this picture reflects sadness from the understanding of the need to grow up in the future, to disown the eccentric fun and embark on the road leading to maybe not the easiest, but to such an interesting and varied adult life, where he himself will have to accept important decisions that will make him a real man in the future.
This artwork is made by traditional technology. Oil paints, canvas and linseed oil.
The picture is made in the author's method of associative analysis.
I think that this is somewhere post-expressionism.
