This painting is a part of the 'Neighbourhood' series. I walk 45 minutes every day and take pictures of what sings to me during the walk. Shaping the tall box hedge around the architectural object in a hazy day gave me a surrealistic and calm feeling.
Light is central theme in my paintings. I find calmness in the details. Focusing on the light allows me to stay present and reconnect with the tranquillity of the world.
