I like Bowie's hair in this one - guaranteed to clash with most things, so I put him in a bright blue pinstripe suit. He continues to mesmerise me, so beautiful and rather fragile looking here.
I wanted a background that is fairly elegant, and that says ( at the risk of sounding over sentimental) that his star still shines bright.
Deep edge canvas, edges painted black.
Signed in paint on the front, and with permanent marker on the reverse.
