Original artwork description:

I love an explosion of flowers... the colours, the textures, the sheer exuberance of life that is encapsulated within them. I also love to take a 'slice' out of images, hence the title of this piece of artwork.... I like the way it changes and enhances the details by cutting through the flowing lines.
These flowers were given to me by a close friend who grew them himself. I couldn't stop looking at them on my windowsill and admiring their perfection so I photographed them and have finally got around to making them into a piece of artwork.
I hope you find it pleasing.
