The technique of combining the looseness of acrylic with the hard outlines of the black ink designs is a technique just used only by me in my artistic expression.
I admire butterflies and this butterfly painting highlights butterflies in flight in a lush array of exotic flowers. The brilliant colors of flowers are in contrast with black design giving the feeling of a modern or contemporary painting. This contrast between reality and fiction adds a more dramatic look to this flower and butterfly painting.
The flowers are created using traditional painterly technique along with hard edged black ink designs usually found in digital art.
The background is subtle and allows the brilliant flowers and butterflies to take center stage.
