The extreme weather and cinematic quality of the Mojave, Sonoran and Chihuahuan desert have inspired this collection. It often seems familiar, like a place you know, but have only seen in a movie. I have travelled these deserts for many years, and no road trip or landscape ever feel the same because of the constantly changing light and shapes of the desert. The rocky landscapes of the Mojave desert where this image was taken feel almost sculptural and otherworldly.
