Original artwork description:

“Bottom of the River I” Inspired by the lyrics of Delta Rae.

This is meant to be from Ones view point, from the edge of the River. As the sun sets, an explosion of color appears on the horizon, the warmth of the day is behind you. Then the creeping cold of the depths of the River begins to set in. The longer you sit, the harder it is to escape.

The once golden sun, is gone. All that is left is darkness and that relentless chill that seems to follow you when you are alone. Can you feel it? Calling to you? Pulling you towards the waters edge?

It’s a long way down, and the more you try to catch your breath, the harder it is in that night air. You feel yourself drowning.

But in that very moment, please remember, you’re not alone. It might feel that way as you’re drowning at the bottom, but reach out. You’ll be so surprised who holds their hand to join you on the journey back to the surface.
