Original artwork description:

I had no idea where this piece was going when I began. I loved doing the silhouetted bottle with the style nod to the Danish Modern Trend, a few weeks ago ( They sold immediately!) and wanted to do more. I have begin integrating outlines and a bit of design detail done in pen on my recent canvases, and really like the marrying of my illustration work with my paintings by way of this detail. On this one however, I took the ink addition a bit further. I wasn’t sure when I finished, what I thought, but the response to this piece has been amazing! The canvas is painted around the edges making it suitable for hanging without a frame.
