I wanted to create a painting of an imaginary world where Boris Johnson the Prime Minister of the UK is homeless and where golden pigs fly. Ultimately I wanted to show how the current economic model can create such wealth in one hand and yet such poverty in the other hand and how global poverty could be cured if just one of the worlds richest men gave some of his money towards this cause. It seems that some Politicians are more fearful about upsetting the rich and powerful few rather than wanting to create an environment where our homeless are homed.

I wanted to paint "Boris And The Golden Pig" in a realism style using oil paints on canvas. I wanted to create a documentary of the consequences of poverty.
I primed the canvas in red paint and started building the layers of the oil painting initially using large brushes and gradually decreasing the size of the brushes until I used single hair brushes for the smallest of detail.
