ORIGINAL STEVLIN YOVCHEV ARTWORK!

2023, "Boreas - the cold north wind" - steel sculpture

This original steel sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the talented professional Bulgarian sculptor Stevlin Yovchev, deeply inspired by one postmodernism, abstract expressionism and constructivism. It is an elegant linear art object and unique nature airy movement portrait, full of provocation and gravity defying mesmerism. Wherever displayed, it won't go unnoticed. The artist concept here is vast and the details' view points are many but in general we may say that it symbolizes nature enclosed in the form of an extraordinary art object. Made of steel sheets by cutting, welding, grinding, oxidation and protective varnish, it is one extraordinary steel masterpiece and exquisite valuable modern home décor.

In ancient Greek mythology, Boreas is the god of the cold north wind, storms, and winter. Boreas, like the rest of the wind gods, was said to be the son of Eos, the goddess of the dawn, by her husband Astraeus, a minor star-god. He is thus brother to the rest of the Anemoi (the wind gods), the five star-gods (Astra Planeta) and the justice goddess Astraea. Boreas was very closely associated with horses, stallions, storms, and winter.
