I was running through the streets of Venice on my own business. Passing over a bridge over a narrow canal, I saw bright sunlight on the water, a boat moored with boxes of books, and the silhouette of a cute old man-a book deliverer-flashed through the door of a bookstore. This moment struck me with its aesthetics.
