Original artwork description:

In this painting I’ve revisited the traditional theme of still life. It was made during the pandemic when I lived in Barcelona. There were still a lot of pandemic related restrictions on outdoor activities so it was a relief to be able to go to the local library and borrow books for ones entertainment. I chose to depict the borrowed books as realistic as possible all while using contemporary colours. I left the spine bear of a title that way the viewer can imagine their own title. Alternatively the painting can be customised with titles chosen by the viewer.

This painting comes in a 33,5 x 23,5 x 3 cm floating frame.
