This particular painting was conceived when I was reading a magazine on relationships. The topic about bonding caught my eyes. The article reads: Bonding across these 4 planes is important for any happy and healthy relationship. When we bond emotionally, physically, intellectually and experientially with our loved ones, we build trust and understanding that allows us to lean on one another in ways we cannot lean on others. I totally agreed. This spurred me to do painting on that. The painting is textured with textile called Ankara from West Africa, particularly Nigeria.
