Bonaparte's judgment (Paris) is a reference to the cycle devoted to Napoleon Bonaparte, the hero of the French and ambiguous for many figures. This picture is the second part of the story, which the Artist tries to tell us in an exorbitant manner. The painter himself, as he says, would gladly add music, snares and cannons. He leaves a trace of his work on a huge canvas, on linen. The whole work has a three-dimensional shape, the stretcher has a thickness of 4 cm and its sides are finished with black cotton material. The paint applied to the colored shape of the silhouettes and stains is mainly a warm white color, deliberately left alone in places.
Large image, on a large wall in modern interiors. The signature is in the lower right corner.
