This artwork is highlighting modern society’s obsession with warfare, with bombs that the governments manufacture like toys. Banksy challenges the press and politicians who portray warfare in a positive light by suggesting it is the right course of action to promote democracy, and peace.

It could equally be said that Banksy also suggests that the forces of love may yet prevail.
