BOLLE DI SAPONE NEL BLU
I made the work with the oil color on wooden board technique, I use the oil color diluting it a lot, then I overlay many very thin layers of color to create the effects I want.
I prepare the base with a special mixture of plaster and glue that over the years I have learned to dose in the best way to accommodate the color and make it resistant over time.
I represented many soap bubbles and imagined that the device to create them was about to fall.
This work is part of the series COGLI L'ATTIMO and is number 28, in this series I have tried to express the concept of appreciating what you have, of enjoying every moment that life offers us, before it's too late.
In 1600 the soap bubbles of the VANITAS pictorial genre were the symbol of the transience of life and the transience of earthly goods.
The soap bubbles bring me back to the happy moments of my childhood and I still smell their scent and remind me of the many times that the bottle fell to the ground, interrupting the magical moment ...
The artwork does not include the frame to let the bubbles fly free!
The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
for shipments outside the EU it is necessary to wait for the authorization of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days
