Original artwork description:

Bob the cat had made himself comfortable on the dresser. The cushion was obvious;y meant for him to sleep on. With the bright red of the Geraniums it made a lovely composition and I had to use my pastels to draw this artawork while he slept. This is in pastels which lends itself to bringing the picture to life. The pastels are Henri Roche pastels - the finest quality you can buy. They are from France, Paris and they were the same make some of the French Impressionists used. I had an award from the Pastel society for best work on paper in their exhibition in the Mall galleries and these pastels was my award.
