I saw this photo shared by a friend. It was of a scrap yard for ships. Dozens of old barges, and tugs. Rusty, broken, aged beyond repaired. It was sad and yet beautiful. A testament to hard work. The name on one of the tugs, Marie Claire. Rust stains running down her sides. The last of the salty tears cried. End of the Journey for this once beautiful vessels.
Also, up until 4 years ago. I was signing my works with my full name. This is one of the last paintings that are signed with my full name.
End of a Journey is 20 x 16 inches on stretched canvas. It is signed on the front. It is wired but sides are not painted so it will need a frame. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
