A colour pencil plein air sketch in the Rochella Iona harbour from our holiday in Calabria, Italy last October 2018. With my technique I like to capture the boats and moving water with strong colour lines. I find boats particularly aesthetically pleasing to draw with their sweeping curves and reflections. A lovely sketch to own for anyone familiar with this area or if you live boats.
