Artwork description:

This image is created from original photographs taken both at Chesil Beach in Dorset and at Aldeburgh in Suffolk, England. It has been created by layering and juxtaposing up to 20 different photographs to create an entirely new scene, which captures a sense of the coastline but leaves room for your own imagination.

This has been one of my most popular photomontages, I think because the colours are calm and it conveys a sense of space and wildness of environment. I am always trying to reach a point in the creation of the images where I can imagine being right in the middle of them, surrounded by the elements and the space. This is one of those images for me.
