I dreamed of visiting Venice long ago. The city attracted me with its history, old buildings, endless intertwined canals and labyrinths of streets. It’s noisy and crowded in the daytime, quiet in the evenings and uninhabited early in the mornings.
One of my favourite places in the city is St. Mark's Square. I enjoyed it almost every day at any time. I delighted sunrises and blue twilights. I took pleasure in watching the pink lantern light at dawn, breathing the sea mist and listening to the wind of silence.
