Original artwork description:

I love visiting the beautiful British coast because I always come away inspired. This mixed media canvas was created after taking some snapshots of the fishing boats in a little harbour on the North Wales coastline.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
