Original artwork description:

Created from one piece of A4 paper, the portrait is sculpted whilst the paper is damp. This requires as little handling as possible before the paper loses its integrity, allowing for an organic subject to be constructed. Once dry, the paper sculpture is reinforced with gesso, and contours emphasised. Details are finished in acrylic paint.

The artwork and signed mounting card come in a white, glazed frame with wall hanging on the back.

Materials used:

cartridge paper, gesso, acrylic paint, magazine print
