Painted on-site at Lyndale Park in Minneapolis, MN. Features a pale "blush" pink peony flower accented by lavender purple blossoms. The variegated green, blue, and purple background was created with water-based casein paint, and glazed over with oil. It also contains a light dusting of shimmering mica in the blue area above the flower. The flower is painted in oil with both brush and palette knife, and the petal shapes are enhanced by the texture of the oil paint.
