Original artwork description:

Painted on-site at Lyndale Park in Minneapolis, MN. Features a peony flower with white petals with hints of blush pink, accented by two pink flower buds beginning to open, and three smaller purple flowers. The background contains dripping and splashing effects created of water-based casein paint, which has been glazed with oil, and with additional textural accents in oil. It contains a variety of of shades of blue, purple, and green. The flower has been painted with palette knife, and the shapes of the petals are enhanced by the textural shaping of the paint.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a white finish, decorative molding, and a gold inner edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
