I'm really inspired by the calming influences of water in a painting. I've been abstracting past works into pieces that have the essence of that feeling without exerting too many realistic qualities. I imagine these pieces to be like trees or flowers reflecting somehow in a water edge. 

Painted in thick acrylic with some impasto qualities to the mark making and layering the paint. This piece is on canvas with a white 2cm deep edge. Ready to hang as it is but it may look even more impressive framed.
