The blues is a musical form originated by African Americans in the Deep South of the United States around the end of the 19th century. Since then, it has spread across most of the world and inspired many other musical genres, including jazz and rock and roll.
There is something universally unique about blues musicians. There is no pretense…..what you see is what you get. Blues Man is one of a series that I am working on depicting blues musicians in various poses and showing a variety of expressions while they create their music.
Blues Man is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. This painting is mounted on tempered masonite board with a two or three inch border. The moon in the background was digitally printed and laminated to the mylar. It is “ready to hang”, with a hanging strip attached to the back and a wall hanging device that is very simple to use. It will be shipped in a cardboard box. You may take it out of the box and have it hanging on your wall within five minutes
