Original artwork description:

A carpet of Bluebells dotted with Stitchwort. Little white stars sprinkled across the woodland floor. I have found a wood near where I live where I can guarantee a walk amongst the bluebells come May. So I am happy. I never feel that Summer can begin until I have spent an afternoon or evening in the bluebell woods taking in the sights and scents of an ancient woodland.
This painting is a colourful mix of blues and zingy greens in an impressionistic style. The bluebells in the foreground are picked out but they become a haze of blue in the background just as they do in the woods.
The painting is supplied in a white/cream mount with a smart indigo inset mount and it will fit a frame 70cm x 70cm.
