Impressionistic landscape painting.

Bluebells in spring are a lovely feature in woods all over the UK, I happen to live a ten minute walk away from one of them! This painting is inspired by that carpet of flowers, which is redolent of spring, beauty and the promise of summer ahead.

I work in layers, paint is dripped, dropped, brushed and flicked onto the surface of the canvas to create a rich textured painting.

This 90x120cm canvas has white painted edges, is unframed, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
