Large Abstract Painting - Bluebells

Every spring without fail, bluebells appear around the edges of my garden. Uninvited, although always welcome, they always give me a sense of hopefulness about the months to follow.

An ode to these pretty garden visitors, 'Bluebells' is one of my circle abstract paintings, using thick, heavy teal, white, and purple paint, with impasto brushes to create a textured surface and painterly finish. The painting is finished in UV protective gloss varnish which keeps the colours vivid for years to come, and also makes it easier to clean and maintain.
