A reduction linocut of a bluebell wood, printed in an expressive, painterly style. I used 22 colours printed in 13 layers.
A reduction linocut is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block of lino. This was an experimental piece so I printed a very small edition of just 10 prints. Each print is created by hand, so variations occur between them making each one truly original.
This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit in a 16x20inch frame.
Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a 16 x 20 inch frame.
