Blue Vervain is a native wildflower that spreads slowly through rhizomes and self-seeding. It can grow in disturbed sites and is commonly found in moist meadow. With an extended bloom time, this native flower is an important food source for birds and pollinators when many summer flowers have passed. Its tiny purple flowers brighten up even the greyest of days.
