Original artwork description:

This small blue vase is a favourite of mine as it's such a sensual shape. I have 'teamed' it up with a miniature book of poetry which belonged to my mother. To add a little colour I have set them against a floral wallpaper background.

The canvas board was first covered with slightly crinkled paper, the edges of which are visible in places giving a little texture and added intrest. This was then given a thin wash of acrylic bronze and once dry the oil paint was applied.

I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and 'sign for' service. Should you wish to purchase more than one painting of this size or smaller at the same time I will be happy to combine postage costs. Message me for details.
