Original artwork description:

This self portrait was painted during a period of great difficulty and self transformation in 2003.
The dark and light blue colors reflect the gloomy period in which it was painted.

This portrait was painting on a panel in which there was previously painted images of canfora leaves from my garden. This process has added a particular texture to the surface which you can see in the photos.

I used only the finest professional acrylic paints on wood board. This painting had a simple hook on the back and is ready to be displayed.
