Another painting scene from my imagination. The work is inspired by the touch of night, the breeze and the rich blue color we could see in the works of Picasso, Van Gogh and Matisse. Quite spontaneously, in the process of making on the background wall, I got patterns, patterns, which are quite reminiscent of Van Gogh's work Starry Night. Blue color throughout the history of art carries its own specificity, many of the artists in their opuses had the so-called Blue Phase where the royal blue shade was used, which we can see in this work. The female character is a product of my imagination, characteristic of my works in vintage clothing. I use contrasting pure tones of yellow, red, blue and green. The symbol of contrast is a drawing of a zebra on the wall. The fact is that zebra stripes are in perfect balance, and in addition to being an excellent camouflage or protection from predators in the wild, they also symbolize a well-known philosophical concept - the perfection of yin and yang. In other words, the zebra shows us with its appearance how the two main opposing but complementary forces are really in everything that surrounds us! Do you think that opposites cannot be attracted, agreed, function as a team? We can also apply this concept to contrasting colors where warm and cool tones are in perfect harmony and work even though they are opposites.
