This piece is 70x70 cm and was painted with shades of Tiffany blue, aqua, taupe beige, yellow ochre, and monochromes.
My paintings are reflections, a single thought, a mood, a conversation on canvas, back and forward. A dance between colors, with movement and energy.
I was interested in capturing the sun's reflection off of the surface of the water in the distance, in addition to the light refraction within the water itself.
This painting was created using many thin layers of transparent oil glazes, giving the piece great depth and luminosity.
Materials used:
I was using professional oil colors with premium quality color, pigments that have high resistance to fading. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame.
