This is an original watercolor on Heritage Canson paper.

In my watercolors, I always attempt to achieve a sense of atmosphere, a sense of place more than the literal depiction of the elements. I find watercolor to be very suitable for the task. Although I am primarily an oil painter, I started recently exploring watercolors and I love the challenge of this medium.

I hope I succeeded in creating the atmosphere of a misty forest surrounding the waterfall falling over a steep rocky cliff.

It will be shipped to you unframed, carefully packaged in a reinforced envelope.
