The blue poppy, Meconopsis, is an astounding colour. The bright turquoise/blue is such and unusual colour to see in the garden that it draws the eye away from all the pinks and reds during its short flowering season.
I love these poppies, and am so happy to finally have a soil that is acid enough for them to thrive.
I believe my painting does justice to the brightness of the colour.
Painted on the edges, this painting is ready to hang, or could be framed as desired.
