Words and feelings of being here on Mother’s Day 2024 and what a special day it was as the sky cleared, the light, reflections and the beauty of this unique, hidden sanctuary.
Original expressive watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb. I created this large contemporary watercolour from my observations and from my series of watercolour demonstrations for my YouTube channel and Instagram.
I used watercolour ink and watercolour paint mixing them together with my Chinese hake and Chinese brushes. I dragged the paint - ink for the pine trees and reflections. Etched out the paint with my nail for the golden grass mounds that were along the edge of the blue pool.
