One of my "To Up" collection, this piece captures the majestic allure of pine trees reaching skyward. Their towering presence gives the impression of touching the heavens. Against a sometimes colorless, almost white, cloudy sky, the pine trees take on a cool blue hue. I aimed to convey the harmonious blend of the cold, dark blue pine trees against the backdrop of the pale, cloud-filled sky. Executed with the impasto technique and bold brushstrokes, the painting brings forth a tangible sense of this striking natural scene.
