Original artwork description:

While living in Tallinn, Estonia I became a bit obsessed with the main local souvenir the Matryoshka. On visiting Russia I found a society with great diversity. I painted a large number of different Matryoshkas showing all types of things I noticed in St Petersburg.

This Picasso Matryoshka is painted onto canvas stretched over a thick frame. The canvas going around the corners is painted the same colour as the back ground. For this reason the painting does not need framing. I can post the painting so it is ready to hang.
