Before pandemic I used to travel a lot (with more than 50 countries visited). Now that significant part of me was taken away. I found an alternative to physical travel through my art journey. Painting landscapes allows to visit new places more often. Appreciation of nature, celebration of place while painting makes me happy and complete. With this artwork I invite the observer to come with me on the journey, visit beautiful Blue Mountains region. Thick texture from flick of the palette knife enhances sheer beauty of this part of Australia. What first comes to mind when you hear “Blue Mountains”- right, Three sisters! These unique rock formation is a popular place to visit both by tourists and locals.
