Original artwork description:

This is semi-abstract landscape dominated by blues with moments of silver, white and grey. Painted in oil on a deeply wrapped canvas (36x24x2.5 inches), it is signed and dated on the back and is ready for hanging. I live on a cove that flows into a major river, so the reeds and grasses, cattails, and wild rice are familiar sights on my walks. There’s quite a bit of texture on the surface, which can be seen in the detailed photos. The deep edges of the canvas are painted white, and while this might be framed, I think it works best on a wall unframed so that the forms extend to the edge of the perceptual field. This work ships with a digitally registered Certificate of Authenticity and bears my mark on the lower right front.
