Part of my 'calming' series'...my favourite colour has always been blue. Perhaps it reminds me of my childhood growing up in the tropics with blue skies and ocean waves!

When I paint my abstracts I find time becomes completely remote. I tend to lose myself to music and enjoy a trance-like state of being. Its the only time I don't paint with my mind's eye...I let the painting create its self. I would like to think that if I was calm and relaxed painting this piece, then anyone viewing it will take on the same feeling.
