I am fascinated by faces, their contours, curves, edges, the shapes and colours of the eyes, mouth and eyebrows. A whole person can be read from a face, their emotions, thoughts, doubts, sometimes joy, sometimes sadness and sometimes both at the same time. Faces can also be contradictory, like this one. A strong, angular man suddenly appears fragile, thoughtful and vulnerable.
This is the face of a young man that I digitally edited and printed on photographic paper. The collage consists of photos and spray paint and epoxy resin, which gives it a water-like surface - on a sturdy wooden frame.
IMPORTANT: None of my artwork is perfect, they are organic, there are drops of paint, tears in the paper, waves, glue residues. They are original!
