Shimmering reflections play across the surface of the sunlit water while veils of blue colour contrast against the warm white and deep blues below. Hints of the Georgian Bay area are revealed in the slate grey rock like shapes. This painting was inspired by unique nature of the Georgian Bay area in Northern Ontario, the shoreline made of dramatic layers of blue grey sheets of Slate.
