Original artwork description:

Blue horizon is a three panels painting.
Of 50x70 cm (19.7"x27.5") each which make 150x70cm (59"x27.5") total.

Acrylic, Gesso, Inktense, Caran d'Ache watercolour pastels on canvas.
Signed on the front and varnished with UV protection, satin varnish.
It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

I keep on working with the colours, to make them vibrate, to make them communicate with one another. I love the subtle modulations in the hues, and how it seems to be illuminated because of the work of contrasting, and balancing darkness and light.

My artwork is as always about lights, mouvements, balance...the fragile visual equilibrium.
It seems the quest is getting deeper, more profound, more spiritual even if somehow the spiritual part has always been very alive in my life, but I make it more visible through my paintings, the way I work the lights, the colours. It's like I am in a stage of a deeper understanding of the Rothko vibrating colours.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint, Inktense, Cotton canvas thin frame.
